この間、宮古島に行ってきたんだけど、海が本当にきれいだったの！
A :
I went to Miyako Island recently, and the ocean was absolutely beautiful!
B :
いいなぁ〜！エメラルドグリーンの海ね。
B :
So nice! The emerald-green sea, right?
A :
そうそう！砂浜も真っ白で、ずっと写真撮ってた。
A :
Yes! And the sand was pure white—I took photos the whole time.
B :
行ってみたいなぁ。でも最近は北海道ばっかり行ってるわ。
B :
I really want to go. But lately I’ve only been traveling to Hokkaido.
A :
いいね！北海道は何がいいの？
A :
That’s nice too! What do you like about Hokkaido?
B :
やっぱり食べ物！カニもウニも最高だった。スキーも楽しかったよ。
B :
Definitely the food! The crab and sea urchin were amazing. And skiing was really fun.
A :
スキーか〜、私は寒いの苦手だから無理かも。
A :
Skiing, huh… I’m not good with the cold, so probably not for me.
B :
逆に私は暑いのが苦手。逆のタイプだね。
B :
I’m the opposite—I can’t handle heat. We’re total opposites.
