Usage

動詞ます形 + 続ける

Description

　「〜続ける」は、動作が継続していることや、長時間にわたって行われることを示す複合動詞です。「〜続ける」is a compound verb used to express that an action continues or is performed over a long period of time.

Examples

彼かれは本ほんを読よみ続つづけています。He continues to read the book.

彼女かのじょは会社かいしゃで働はたらき続つづけた。She continued working at the company.

学生がくせいたちは問題もんだいを考かんがえ続つづけています。The students continue to think about the problem.

彼かれらは努力どりょくし続つづけるでしょう。They will keep trying.

彼かれは毎日まいにち勉強べんきょうし続つづけています。He continues to study every day.
