Description

　「〜か」は、名詞を並列させて選択肢を示すために使われる助詞です。二つ以上の名詞をつなげて、そのうちの一つの選択肢を選ぶことを示します。「〜か」is a particle used to list nouns and indicate a selection of choices. It connects two or more nouns and shows that one of the options is selected. Similar to "… or ...” in English.

Examples

朝あさごはんは、パンかおにぎりを食たべます。For breakfast, I eat either bread or rice balls.

今日きょうは電車でんしゃかバスで行いきます。Today, I’ll go by either train or bus.

コーヒーか紅茶こうちゃを飲のみますか？Will you drink coffee or tea?

昼ひるご飯はんはラーメンか寿司すしを食たべます。For lunch, I’ll eat either ramen or sushi.

赤あかか青あおか、迷まよっています。I don't know whether red or blue is better.
