名詞 + きり

Description

　この文型は、接続された名詞だけという限定の意味を持ちます。 This sentence pattern has the limited meaning of only the connected noun.

Examples

一度いちどきりの人生じんせい、悔くいのないように生いきたい。You only live once, so I want to live without regrets.

彼かれと二人ふたりきりで話はなしたい。I want to talk to him alone.

彼女かのじょとは一か月前いっかげつまえに会あった。それきり、連絡れんらくはしていない。I met her a month ago and haven't had any contact since.

彼女かのじょは一人ひとりきりで旅行りょこうに出でかけた。She went on a trip all by herself.

その一回いっかいきり、一度いちども成功せいこうしていない。That was the only time, and it has never been successful.
