Description

　「少し」は、数量や程度がわずかであることを表す副詞で、少ない変化や数量、時間、距離などを示すときに使われます。口語では「ちょっと」や「ちょい」として使われることも多いです。「少し」is an adverb indicating a small amount or degree and is used when referring to small changes in quantity, time, distance, etc. In spoken language, it is often used as「ちょっと」or「ちょい」. Similar to "a little” in English.
