Description

　この文型は、始まりと終わりの範囲を示す表現で、時間や場所、順序などを表すときに使われます。「〜から」は開始点、「〜まで」は終了点を示します。これらは単独でも使用することができます。 This sentence pattern is used to express the range from the start to the end of an action, time, place, or sequence.「〜から」indicates the starting point, and「〜まで」indicates the ending point. These can be used independently as well. Similar to "from ... to ...” in English.

Examples

会議かいぎは１０時じゅうじから始はじまります。The meeting starts at 10 o’clock.

このレポートの提出ていしゅつは明日あしたまでです。This report is due by tomorrow.

夏休なつやすみは７月しちがつ１日ついたちから８月はちがつ３１日さんじゅういちにちまでです。Summer vacation is from July 1st to August 31st.

台風たいふうは沖縄おきなわから九州きゅうしゅうまで影響えいきょうを及およぼしました。The typhoon affected from Okinawa to Kyushu.
