Interviewer :
Thank you for coming today. Please have a seat.
学生 :
ありがとうございます。早稲田大学経済学部国際貿易専攻の李華と申します。本日はどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
Student :
Thank you. My name is Li Hua, majoring in International Trade in the School of Economics at Waseda University. Thank you for having me today.
面接官 :
こちらこそよろしくお願いします。では、まず自己紹介をお願いできますか？
Interviewer :
Thank you. First, could you introduce yourself?
学生 :
はい。私は中国出身で、日本には3年前に留学で来ました。
Student :
Yes. I am from China and came to Japan three years ago to study.
学生 :
大学では国際貿易を専攻し、主に日本とアジア諸国の輸出入ビジネスについて学んでいます。
Student :
At university, I major in international trade, mainly learning about import and export business between Japan and Asian countries.
面接官 :
そうですか。なぜ日本の企業で働きたいと思われたのですか？
Interviewer :
I see. Why do you want to work for a Japanese company?
学生 :
日本の企業は品質や信頼を大切にしていて、その姿勢が素晴らしいと思ったからです。
Student :
Because I think Japanese companies value quality and trust, which I find admirable.
学生 :
また、中国と日本をつなぐ貿易の仕事を通して、自分の語学力と知識を活かしたいと考えています。
Student :
Also, I want to use my language skills and knowledge to contribute to trade between China and Japan.
面接官 :
なるほど。弊社を志望した理由は何でしょうか？
Interviewer :
I understand. Why did you apply to our company in particular?
学生 :
御社は東南アジアへの輸出を積極的に展開されていて、グローバルな視点で仕事ができるところに魅力を感じました。
Student :
Your company is actively expanding exports to Southeast Asia, and I am attracted to the opportunity to work with a global perspective.
学生 :
私も将来は海外取引を担当できるようになりたいです。
Student :
In the future, I would like to handle overseas business.
面接官 :
素晴らしいですね。学生時代にはどんなことに力を入れましたか？
Interviewer :
Excellent. What did you focus on during your student days?
学生 :
学業はもちろんですが、学外では中日交流イベントの運営に積極的に携わりました。
Student :
Besides my studies, I actively participated in organizing China–Japan cultural exchange events.
面接官 :
いい経験ですね。李さんの強みは何だと思いますか？
Interviewer :
That’s good experience. What would you say is your strength?
学生 :
はい、異文化の中でも柔軟に対応できるコミュニケーション力だと思います。
Student :
My strength is communication—being able to adapt flexibly even in multicultural environments.
学生 :
日本語・中国語・英語を使い、相手に合わせた話し方を意識するようにしています。
Student :
I speak Japanese, Chinese, and English, and I try to adjust the way I speak based on the person I’m communicating with.
面接官 :
素晴らしいですね。では、入社したらどんな仕事をしてみたいですか？
Interviewer :
Very good. What kind of work would you like to do after joining?
学生 :
最初は現場をよく学ばせていただき、将来的には海外取引の交渉や新しい市場開拓に挑戦したいです。
Student :
I would like to learn the work on-site at first, and eventually challenge myself with overseas negotiations and market development.
面接官 :
いい目標ですね。最後に何か質問はありますか？
Interviewer :
Wonderful goal. Do you have any questions?
学生 :
はい。御社では、外国語を活かせる部署への配属はどのように決まるのでしょうか？
Student :
Yes. How does your company decide assignments to departments that use foreign language skills?
面接官 :
はい、入社後3か月間の研修で各部署を体験してもらい、その後本人の希望と適性を見て配属を決定します。
Interviewer :
After joining, you will experience several departments during a three-month training period. Then, we consider your preference and suitability to decide your assignment.
学生 :
ありがとうございます。よく分かりました。
Student :
Thank you. I understand well.
面接官 :
それでは本日の面接は以上です。結果は1週間以内にメールでご連絡いたします。
Interviewer :
This concludes today’s interview. We will notify you of the result by email within a week.
学生 :

Student :
