なに

　「なに」は、物や事柄について尋ねるときに使われる疑問詞です。一般的には、物の名前や内容を知りたいときに使われ、カジュアルな場面からフォーマルな場面まで幅広く使用されます。「なに」と「なん」の漢字はどちらも「何」です。「なに」は、より具体的な物や内容について尋ねるニュアンスが強く、対象そのものに焦点が当たります。一方、「なん」は、少し抽象的で、状況や背景、属性を尋ねる時に使われやすく、より軽い感じで情報を求めるニュアンスがあります。  「なに」is an interrogative word used to ask about objects or things. It is used when wanting to know the name or content of something and is used in a wide range of situations, from casual to formal. Both “なに” and “なん” are written as “何” in kanji. “なに” has a stronger nuance of asking about specific objects or content, focusing on the object itself. On the other hand, “なん” is more abstract and is often used when asking about the situation, background, or attributes, giving a lighter impression of seeking information. Similar to "what” in English.
