Description

　「もの・もん」は、話し手が自分の理由や言い訳を表すときに使う終助詞です。「もの」と比べ、「もん」はよりカジュアルで口語的な表現です。特に女性や子供の間で使われることが多いですが、男性もカジュアルな場面で使用することがあります。「もの・もん」is a sentence-ending particle used to express the speaker’s reasons or excuses. Compared to “もの,” “もん” is more casual and colloquial, especially used by women or children, but sometimes used by men in casual contexts.

だって、眠ねむいんだもの。But I’m sleepy!

行いきたくないもの。I don’t want to go.

彼女かのじょが好すきなんだもん。Because I like her!
