Description

　「そろそろ」は、時間が近づいていることや、何かが徐々に始まる時期を示す副詞です。会話の中で予定や行動を促すときにもよく使われます。「そろそろ」is an adverb indicating that the time is approaching or that something is gradually about to begin. It is often used in conversation to prompt an action or event. Similar to "It's almost time to ...” in English.

Examples

そろそろ会議かいぎを始はじめましょう。Let’s start the meeting soon.

そろそろ授業じゅぎょうを始はじめます。We will start the class soon.

そろそろ桜さくらの季節きせつです。It’s about time for the cherry blossom season.

そろそろ夕飯ゆうはんの準備じゅんびをしよう。It’s about time to prepare dinner.

そろそろ出発しゅっぱつの時間じかんです。It’s about time to leave.
