Description

　「たり・だり」は、複数の動作や状態を例示するために使われる接続助詞です。通常、複数の行動や状態を並べて述べるときに使用されますが、場合によっては一つの「たり・だり」だけで使うこともできます。「たり・だり」is a conjunction used to list multiple actions or states as examples. It is generally used when several actions or conditions are mentioned, but sometimes can also be used with only one “たり・だり.”

Examples

週末しゅうまつは家いえで読書どくしょをしたり、散歩さんぽをしたりします。On weekends, I read books and go for walks at home.

会議かいぎでは資料しりょうを確認かくにんしたり、意見いけんを交換こうかんしたりします。In the meeting, we will check the materials and exchange opinions.
