Description

　この文型は、二つの選択肢を比較して、ある選択が他の選択よりも良い、または望ましいことを示す表現です。また、相手に対して提案や助言をするときにも使用されます。 This sentence pattern is used to compare two choices and express that one option is better or preferable than the other. It is also used when offering suggestions or advice. Similar to "... is more …” in English.

Examples

もっと勉強べんきょうしたほうがいいよ。You should study more.

このプランに変更へんこうしたほうがいいかもしれません。It might be better to switch to this plan.

薬くすりを飲のんだほうがいいですよ。You should take your medicine.

試験しけんの前まえに復習ふくしゅうしたほうがいいです。You should review before the exam.
