動詞て形 + くれる
Description
「〜てくれる」は、他人が話し手のために行動をする場合に使われ、相手からの恩恵を受けることを表す表現です。「くれる」という動作の主体は他人ですが、恩恵を受ける主体は話し手になります。 「〜てくれる」is used when someone performs an action for the speaker, expressing receiving a favor or benefit from someone. The subject of the action is someone else, but the speaker is the one benefiting from it.
Examples
友達が荷物を持ってくれる。My friend will carry my luggage for me.
取引先が書類を確認してくれた。The business partner reviewed the documents for me.
父が車を貸してくれた。My father lent me his car.
お年寄りが道を教えてくれた。The elderly person showed me the way.
警察が助けてくれました。The police helped me.
