Description
「なかなか」は、進行や実現が思ったよりも難しいことを示したり、逆に物事が予想以上に良いことを示したりする副詞です。 「なかなか」is an adverb used to indicate that progress or realization is more difficult than expected, or conversely, to indicate that things are better than anticipated.
Examples
このプロジェクトはなかなか進まない。This project is not progressing easily.
この問題はなかなか解けない。This problem is quite difficult to solve.
風邪がなかなか治らない。My cold is not getting better.
彼はなかなか面白い人だ。He is quite an interesting person.
連絡がなかなか取れない。It’s quite difficult to get in touch.
