　「なかなか」は、進行や実現が思ったよりも難しいことを示したり、逆に物事が予想以上に良いことを示したりする副詞です。　「なかなか」is an adverb used to indicate that progress or realization is more difficult than expected, or conversely, to indicate that things are better than anticipated.

例文

このプロジェクトはなかなか進すすまない。This project is not progressing easily.
