Description

　この文型は、現実とは異なる希望や期待、または後悔を表すときに使われる仮定形の表現です。仮定の条件が満たされていれば、理想的な結果や状況が実現するという意味を持ちますが、現実にはそうなっていないことを示します。 This sentence pattern is used when expressing hopes, expectations, or regrets that differ from reality, implying an ideal outcome or situation that would happen if a condition were met, but does not in reality.

Examples

もっと早はやく出発しゅっぱつすればよかったのに。I wish we had left earlier.

お金かねがあれば、旅行りょこうに行いけるのに。If I had money, I could go on a trip.
