Description

　この文型は、仮定や条件を示す表現で、ある行動や状況を実現したとしても、その結果が無意味であったり、期待通りの結果が得られないことを強調する場合に使われます。 This sentence pattern is used to indicate that, even if a certain condition or action is met, the result is meaningless or does not meet expectations.

Examples

今いまさら謝あやまったところで、彼かれの怒いかりは収おさまらないだろう。Even if you apologize now, his anger won’t subside.

全力ぜんりょくで頑張がんばったところで、結果けっかは変かわらなかった。Even though I gave it my all, the result didn’t change.
