　この文型は、何かが期待されたり想像されたほどの程度ではないことを表す表現です。　This sentence pattern is used when something is not as expected or imagined, indicating a lower degree or less impact than anticipated.

例文

これは難むずかしい問題もんだいだが、解とけないというほどでもない。This is a difficult problem, but not so hard that it can’t be solved.
