説明

　「それで」は、前の文で述べた事柄が原因や理由となり、後の文でその結果や結論を述べるときに使用される接続詞です。話の流れを自然に続けるためにも使われます。また、口語では「それ」が省略され、「で」だけになることもあります。　「それで」is a conjunction used when the content of the first clause causes or explains the result or conclusion in the second clause. It is used to smoothly continue the flow of the conversation. In spoken language, “それ” is often omitted, and only「で」is used. Similar to "so” in English.

例文

風邪かぜを引ひきました。それで、学校がっこうを休やすみました。I caught a cold. Therefore, I took a day off school.

雨あめが降ふっていました。それで、試合しあいは中止ちゅうしになりました。It was raining. Therefore, the match was canceled.
