説明

　この文型は、避けられない状況や、何かをしなければならないという強制的な状況を表す表現です。自分の意思に関係なく、やむを得ずその行動を取る必要がある場合に使われます。「する」の場合は「せざるを得ない」となります。　This sentence pattern expresses an unavoidable situation or a compulsory situation where something must be done. It is used when an action must be taken regardless of the speaker’s intention, often with a sense of necessity.

例文

この仕事しごとが終おわるまで、残業ざんぎょうせざるを得えない。I have no choice but to work overtime until this job is finished.

大雨おおあめのため、試合しあいを中止ちゅうしせざるを得えなかった。Due to heavy rain, we had no choice but to cancel the game.
