説明

　この文型は、ある事実や状況を前提にしながらも、それに反する内容や異なる立場を表す表現で、予想や一般的な認識とは異なる状況を示すときに使われます。　This sentence pattern expresses that, although something is assumed, the result or situation contradicts the initial expectation or general understanding. It is used when presenting a different situation from what was anticipated.

例文

たとえ医者いしゃといえども、病気びょうきをすべて治なおせるわけではない。Even a doctor cannot cure all diseases.

年長者ねんちょうしゃといえども、他人たにんに失礼しつれいな態度たいどを取とるべきではない。Even if you are an elder, you shouldn’t be rude to others.

親おやといえども、子供こどもの人生じんせいを完全かんぜんに支配しはいすることはできない。Even though they are the parents, they cannot fully control their children’s lives.
