　この文型は、何かが十分ではなく、期待通りでない状態や、少し物足りない感覚を表すときに使われる表現です。通常、否定文と共に使われ、満足していない状況や、改善の余地があるという感覚を伝えたいときによく使用されます。　This sentence pattern is used to express inadequacy, a state not meeting expectations, or a slight sense of dissatisfaction. It is typically used with negative sentences to convey a feeling that improvement is needed or desired.

例文

この映画えいが、悪わるくはないけど、今いまひとつ面白おもしろくない。This movie isn’t bad, but it’s not quite interesting.

この料理りょうり、今いまひとつ味あじが足たりない気きがする。This dish feels like it’s lacking a bit of flavor.
