美化語
美化語は、敬語の中の丁寧語の一つで、単語そのものを美化して、上品な意味合いを加える言葉です。
美化語の中でも、名詞の前に「お・ご・おん」をつけるものと、言葉を言い換えるものがあります。
Beautifying words are a type of polite language within honorific language. They beautify the word itself, adding a refined nuance.
Among beautifying words, some add 「お・ご・おん」 before a noun, and others replace a word with a more refined one.
お・ご・おん
「お・ご・おん」は漢字で書くと「御」で、意味も同じですが、「お」と「ご」は、平仮名で表記することが多いです。
また、外来語には使えません。
「お」, 「ご」, and 「おん」 are all written 「御」 in kanji and have the same meaning, but 「お」 and 「ご」 are usually written in hiragana. Also, they cannot be used with loanwords.
お
名詞の前に「お」をつけるときは、基本的には２つの場合があります。
There are basically two cases where 「お」 is added before a noun.
1. 和語の前につく
Added before native Japanese words.
例
お花・お酒・お金・お買い物
2. 一部の漢語の前につく
Added before some Sino-Japanese words.
例
お電話・お時間・お菓子・お会計
ご
名詞の前に「ご」をつけるときは、殆どの場合、漢語の前です。
When 「ご」 is added before a noun, it is in most cases before a Sino-Japanese word.
例
ご両親・ご友人・ご機嫌・ご安心
おん
「おん」を使うときは、「御中」「御社」「御曹司」などで、「お」や「ご」と比べると、例は少ないです。
「おん」を使うときは、漢字で表記するので、注意です。
「おん」 is used in words like 「御中」, 「御社」, or 「御曹司」, and is much rarer than 「お」 or 「ご」.
Note that when 「おん」 is used, it is written in kanji.

言い換え
一部の言葉を言い換えをすると、丁寧で上品な印象になります。
