Description

　この文型は、完全に否定するわけではなく、可能性や事実の一部を認めるときに使われる表現です。控えめに否定するニュアンスを持ち、相手に配慮したり、断言を避けたりする場面でよく使われます。 This sentence pattern does not entirely negate something but acknowledges part of its possibility or fact. It conveys a mild negation, often used in situations where the speaker wants to show consideration or avoid making definitive statements.

Examples

あの山やまに登のぼるのはできないことはないが、準備じゅんびが必要ひつようだ。It's not impossible to climb that mountain, but you need to be prepared.

この仕事しごとを一人ひとりでやるのは、無理むりではないこともないが、かなり大変たいへんだ。It’s not entirely impossible to do this job alone, but it’s really tough.

彼かれの意見いけんに同意どういできないことはないが、私わたしは別べつの考かんがえがある。I don’t entirely disagree with his opinion, but I have a different perspective.
