Description

　この文型は、ある動作や出来事が起こった直後に、次の動作や出来事が続けて起こることを表す表現で、何かが起こる瞬間にすぐに別のことが起こる様子を強調します。非常に短い時間の中での出来事を述べるときに使われ、主に書き言葉で使われます。 This sentence pattern describes an action or event that occurs immediately after another, emphasizing consecutive occurrences within a very short time. It is mainly used in written language.

彼かれは部屋へやに入はいるや否いなや、電話でんわをかけ始はじめた。As soon as he entered the room, he started making a phone call.
