動詞ます形 + ながら

Description

　「ながら」は、同時に二つの動作を行うことを示す接続助詞で、動詞のます形に接続して使用されます。「ながら」の後に述べる動作が主に行われることが多いです。「ながら」is a conjunction used to indicate that two actions are performed simultaneously. It connects to the masu-form of a verb, and the action mentioned after “ながら” is often the main one.

Examples

音楽おんがくを聴ききながら勉強べんきょうする。I study while listening to music.

テレビを見みながらご飯はんを食たべてはいけません。You should not eat while watching TV.

プロジェクトの進捗しんちょくを確認かくにんしながら、次つぎのステップを決定けっていします。We will decide the next step while checking the progress of the project.
