Description

　この文型は、一つの行動や目的が、同時に他の目的や意図も含んでいることを表す表現で、何かをするときに、ついでに他の目的も果たす場合に使われます。 This sentence pattern expresses that one action or goal includes other objectives or intentions. It’s used when performing an action and accomplishing another goal at the same time.

Examples

彼かれは休暇きゅうかをかねて海外かいがいに行いった。He went abroad for a vacation.

彼かれは、趣味しゅみをかねて、絵えを描かいている。He paints, combining it with his hobby.

研修けんしゅうをかねて、現地げんちの文化ぶんかを学まなびに行いきます。I’m going to learn about the local culture, also combining it with training.
